Where: Preston Library Meeting Room, 266 Gower St Preston 3072

Scoring & Tiebreaks: Each round’s match is scored 1, ½ or 0 for an overall match win, draw or loss. Match points are then used first to decide standings, followed by game points. Two half-point byes can be taken in the first five rounds if needed. This would add a 1/2 point to your match score but will not add any game points to your tiebreak. We will pair on each night based on attendance and automatically allocate half-point byes (up to a maximum of 2) for registered players not present on the night.

Entry fee: $30 (for all 7 rounds), Registration by emailing dcc@darebinchessclub.org.au. The field is limited to the first 24 paid entrants. Darebin Chess Club reserves the right to refuse registration applications.

Prizes:
Open: 1st $100, 2nd $75, 3rd $50
